Vanguard™ Caps are designed to provide limited impact and penetration protection in the event of a top or lateral blow to the head. Comes complete with the Fas-Trac 4-point ratechet suspension system.

Vanguard Caps meet all applicable requirements for a Type I and II (top and lateral impact) helmet as outlined in CSA Z94.1-2005 (Class E) and ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2009 (Class E).

NOTE: Caps are available as special order items and must be purchased in a minimum quantity of 20 hats. Please contact customer service for more information or to place a special order.

The Vanguard cap also has a specially designed 4-point Fas-Trac ratchet suspension that cannot be used with any other MSA model hard hat. Replacement suspensions for the Vanguard cap may be ordered as a special order item. Please contact customer service for help.

In Stock Items

Orders for In Stock items placed before 2 PM CST Monday through Friday will usually ship the same day. Orders placed for In Stock items placed on Saturday or Sunday ship on the next business day.

Limited Inventory Items

Orders for Limited Availability items before 2 PM CST will usually ship on the same day, but are limited to the inventory we currently have on-hand.
